This new multi-use building will be a great addition to our current facilities.

Multi-Use Facility

This 7,506 square foot space will provide plenty of room for large gatherings, retreats, family reunions and athletic events. The space will house a regulation size athletic court with bleacher seating, a coaches’ office, equipment storage and concession area. Not only will this addition allow for safer, more enjoyable games for St. Pius X youth, but our service organizations will now be able to earn money hosting tournaments and other events sponsored by the church and the community. Let your organization know this new facility will soon be available.

Library

With 1,522 square feet of space reserved for the new library, students are sure to find an inviting space to spend time perusing the stacks or enjoying a new find. This Catholic library will have plenty of books to excite adults and children alike as they learn about God, Bible stories and the lives of Saints, as well as current works appealing to our students.

Music Room

After years of practicing in a storage area turned music room, the choir will rejoice when they enter the new 1,119 square foot music room designed to provide the best sound. The space will also serve as the music room for our school and ensure use year round! This space will have a 113 square foot storage room attached, allowing this room to serve as a general meeting space when not being used by our parish songbirds.

Science Lab

This 1,119 square foot room will be home to equipment already purchased to create the dream science lab for any child and add excitement and energy to an important part of our school curriculum. The space has an attached 113 square foot preparation area to keep the room clutter free and allow certain elements of experiments to be kept out of view until the appropriate time. Research shows that teaching science in a laboratory atmosphere not only increases students’ interest and understanding of science, but also increases critical thinking and reasoning skills.

Kitchen

Measuring in at 723 square feet, this health department certified kitchen will prepare and serve lunch each day to our St. Pius X School students and allow professional caterers and church organizations to successfully prepare and serve for any event.

Cafeteria, Banquet Hall, Party Room, Large Group Meeting Space

This 2,817 square foot space will allow St. Pius X families and neighbors to host large parties, receptions and family reunions. It will also serve as the St. Pius X School Cafeteria. With your support, the 2009-10 school year will be the last year students are forced to eat lunch as early as 10:45 due to space shortage in the cafeteria!
